Das Projekt »Vogelsang« ist abgeschlossen
Die Publikation wird zu der Ausstellungseröffnung am 8. Mai 2010, im Musée Royal de l'Armée in Brüssel, in gedruckter Version und als eines der ersten Bücher weltweit für das iPhone als MagBooks®, sowie als E-Book für den PC/Mac veröffentlicht.

The State Chancellery of North Rhine Westphalia in cooperation with the District Government of Cologne, is sponsoring the project »Vogelsang« on recommendation from the Committee for Culture of Regio Aachen.
Kunststiftung NRW sponsors Vogelsang
In its meeting on August 28th, 2007, the Board of Directors of the Kunststiftung NRW (Arts Foundation of Northrhine Westphalia) has laid down priorities for the promotion of important artistic events and projects of the coming year. In the meeting, it was also decided to sponsor the project »Vogelsang«.
Work will begin in November 2007, and will be completed with a publication and exhibitions by the middle of 2008.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Kunststiftung NRW for the sponsorship.
Die Projektskizze:
Spätestens mit der Eröffnung des Nationalparks Eifel zum 1. Januar 2004 ist das militärisch genutzte Areal Vogelsang bundesweit in den Fokus der Öffentlichkeit gerückt. In der kontrovers geführten Diskussion um die zukünftige zivile Nutzung der ehemaligen NS-Ordensburg, die im Umgang mit der nationalsozialistischen Erblast durchaus paradigmatische Züge aufweist, hat ein zentraler Aspekt bisher nur marginal Beachtung gefunden. Es handelt sich um das Faktum, dass mit dem Abzug der belgischen Streitkräfte zum 1. Januar 2006 ein bedeutendes Kapitel deutscher Besatzungsgeschichte der Nachkriegszeit unwiderruflich enden wird.

Project Manager
Wanted: an exceptional communicator with a background in art theory and/or business administration for the realisation of projects in the areas artistic photography, documentation, book publishing.
Your responsibilities include the conceptual preparation of art projects, making contact with cooperation partners in the institutional and private sectors, as well as managing the projects with regard to public relations, marketing and management of exhibitions.
Your pay will be generous, result-oriented and based on the projects. |
